Regina Mary Napierkowski, (nee Florkowski) age 87, died Thursday, May 2, 2024. Regina Mary was born May 10, 1936 in Yonkers. the daughter of the late John and Anne (Skrocki) Florkowski. A graduate of St. Casimir's School and Sacred Heart HS in Yonkers, she also attended Fordham University. Honored as Polish American Citizen of the year (2004) by Yonkers City Council & Westchester County. Charter member and former secretary of St. Casimir's Parish Council, a member of the St. Cecilia Choir and taught music in the Drum Corps. Eucharist Minister and volunteer at St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Volunteered sewing services, crocheting pards and lap robes for the residents of Rosary Hill Home. Regina was married to Edward Napierkowski who pre-deceased her in 2020. Proud mother of 3 children: Irene Watson (Dennis), Edward Napierkowski, Jr. (Audrey) and Peter Napierkowski (Daria). Loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren: Heather, Michelle, Janine, Justin, Edward III and 4 great grandchildren: Tyler, Lizzie, Devin and Kayleigh. Dear sister to John Florkowski (Peg) Regina also was an Aunt, great aunt and great great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
