Obituary of Diane E Greene

Please share a memory of Diane to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diane E. Scacchi Greene of Yonkers, N.Y. peacefully passed on October 21, 2018 She was born on September 2, 1964 to Elaine Marchionni Scacchi and the late Angelo Scacchi. Diane was born the middle child and made sure everyone was aware of her family role. After graduating MVHS in 1982 she began her career in the food service industry where she was an account executive for over 30 years. On September 7, 2016 she survived a horrific motorcycle accident and for the past 2 years showed bravery and courage to overcome many obstacles in her valiant recovery to move forward. Diane was certainly a force to be reckoned with, at times she roared like a lion but more often purred like a kitten. Her heart was as wide as the ocean and as beautiful as the seascape which she loved and called home. Diane will mostly be remembered by those who adored her for being a kind and giving person with a tremendous lively spirit enhanced by contageous laughter and bright smile. Her incredible wit and penchant for fun and spontaneous adventure were unmatched. She loved to spend time cooking a la Chef Diane and creating memorabilia for those she cared most about. Diane will be dearly missed by her loving and supportive husband Richy Greene, her Mother Elaine Scacchi, her sister Karen Scacchi, her brother Thomas Scacchi her best friend aka sister #2 Teresa Rossi, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and the dear friends she is blessed to have. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in memory of Diane E. Greene to the World Wildlife Fund at www.WorldWildlife.org, the SPCA of Westchester at www.SPCA914.org, The Humane Society at www.humanesociety.org or a favorite charity of your choice.
