Obituary of Anna Maria Cassanelli

It is with great sadness that we grieve the loss of Annamarie Cassanelli, who passed away on Feb. 18th. She was 53 yrs. old and had succumbed to a very long and difficult battle of complications from Covid. Annemarie grew up in Yonkers and was the Daughter of longtime immigrants from Italy Salvatore & Maria Cassanelli. She became a Hair Stylist who preferred cutting her friends and family's hair in private, rather than at a Salon. She was a very caring and generous person who loved to talk to people anywhere she went and had many friends of whom can attest to the fact that she was a likable person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and especially her father Salvatore, Brother Danny (who she loved dearly) and Sister in law, Ellie. Until we meet again in Paradise she will forever be in our hearts. The family will meet at the Sinatra Memorial Home (499 Yonkers Avenue) on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM. We will then proceed to Ferncliff Cemetery where Annamarie will be laid to rest.
