Alfred J. Bonafilia, age 78, of New Windsor, NY died Sunday, November 29, 2009. Mr. Bonafilia was born November 30, 1930 in the Bronx, the son of the late Andrew and Theresa Bonafilia. . Retired from the FDNY and a veteran of the US Army. Devoted father of Carol Bonafilia, Pat (Jim) Fitzpatrick,and Nancy (John) Theodorou. Dear brother of Rosanna Riecker and the late Rudy Bonafilia. Loving grandfather of Michael and Ryan. Dear friend of Martha Martinez. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 at Sinatra Memorial Home. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
