The memories I have with my grandma are the following: summers in Ocean Beach, NJ; Christmas at my grandparents' house; walking with my brother to her house when we were at my uncle's house; lottery tickets; slushies from the store on Lockwood Ave.; her love of cats; how astounded she was when she saw me drive for the first time (I think she was surprised - in that moment - at how grown up I was); how proud she was of her family; how crafty she was; birthday cards; how excited my brother and I were when she came to see us at my uncle's house when we were in Yonkers - "Is grandma coming over today?"; Woolworth's; how much she wanted to come to my wedding- she never gave up on the idea of coming no matter how sick she was; her love for my husband even though he wasn't her "real" grandson... Grandma traded in the machines, at the hospital, for wings so she can watch over us. She wasn't as close as she wanted to be to us, but now she is. I love you grandma and you will be in my heart forever!

she would do anything for any one. i remember her reaction when we told her she was going to be a grandmother again. So happy and so excited. She loved making baby blankets. She would make them for people she didnt even know. I really miss her. Now she is with my father again. I hope they know how much we loved them. I love you mom

Mom Stella -
It's been a year since we lost you - we have a hole in hearts that can never be filled. Sophia talks of you often and we will keep those memories alive forever.
Keep Manny, Ro and my daddy in check.
Love you, Linda

My mom told me a story about my grandma who was in Wal-Mart one day and walked up to a mother with a child in the cart and asked for her address because she wanted to make a blanket for her little girl. That is how selfless my grandma was - always thinking about other people other than herself. Miss you and love you grandma!

I miss you! I crocheted my first hat a few months ago and I thought about you the whole time. I hope you watch over the new little ones in our family. I know you would have been so excited to be a great grandma! I love you! "Just like you said you'd be, Anytime I needed you here to comfort me, Though it's only a memory, But I swear you're here right there everywhere I go..."
