Anna “Nina” Pavone was a wonderful and loving wife and loyal supportive mother to five children, and ten grandchildren.  Born in Pratola Serra, Italy to Giuseppina and Vincenzo Giordano, Nina came to the United States when she was a teenager.  She began a modeling career and met the love of her life, John Pavone.  They began their 65-year marriage in 1957 and started their family in Middle Village, Queens followed by a move to Armonk, NY where she started a career as a teacher’s assistant at Coman Hill School.  Nina was dedicated to her family and instilled her love of family in her children and extended family.  Nina was an avid traveler and loved cruising with John.  Nina was her mother’s daughter and enjoyed gardening, cooking and knitting.  She was dedicated to her church as a eucharistic minister at St Patrick’s Church in Armonk.  Nina is survived by her husband, John and their 5 children, Joanne (Thomas) Williams, Lori (Leo) Masterson, John (Christine) Pavone, Rita (Edward) Deiser and Joseph (Elise) Pavone   and 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Marissa, Sara, TJ (Emily), Johnny, Matthew, Maria, Austin, Luke and Will.  Viewing will be held at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
