It is with profound sadness that the family of Eideh Innabi Hassan announce her peaceful passing on November 5, 2022, at the age of 85 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by family whom she loved and whose lives were made whole by her tender care, guidance, love and generosity. Eideh was born on March 29, 1937 in Ermameen, Jordan to Sleman Salem Jwaid Innabi and Jamilah Abdallah Hasso. She was the youngest of nine siblings, including her twin sister. She married the late Hanna J Hassan, in Fuhies, Jordan and then immigrated to the United States shortly after. They resided in Yonkers, New York for the better part of their lives. Eideh is survived by survived by her daughters Dr. Elaine Hassan, Lena Mary Hassan and Dr. Matel Hassan, son-in-law Mazen Issa Awwad, her grandchildren, Zaina, Issa and Lana, her sister Muntaha (Anabi) and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored. Eideh is predeceased by her husband, Hanna and her brothers Michael and Khalil Innabi, her sisters Futhia (Tomassian), Julia (Innabi), Jelileh (Innabi), Tamam (Aboudi) and Terez (Nasser).Eideh is remembered for her kind and compassionate heart. She loved and treasured her family and friends. Eideh was immensely proud of her daughters and grandchildren and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She was a devout Catholic and active parishioner at the Good Shepherd Church - St. Mary's, for over forty years. She was faithful and prayed the rosary daily up until her final hour. Eideh led by example and with her beloved husband Hanna, taught her daughters and grandchildren the value of Catholic faith, education, respect, and compassion. Eideh touched the lives of many friends and relatives, especially her nieces and nephews, who she loved immensely. Visiting hours will be held at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, November 8th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 10 am, at St. Mary's Good Shepherd Church in Yonkers. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Good Shepherd Church, 103 South Broadway, Yonkers, New York
