Joseph Cirillo , age 96 was born January 8, 1929 in the Bronx to the late Samuel and Rose Cirillo. He passed away Monday morning January 20 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife Doris. He is survived by his daughter Roseann , son in law Jerry Singleton and his grandchildren Christopher, Timothy and Carina Singleton. Also surviving are his siblings Dolly and Eleanor. He owned his own bowling pro shop for over 60 years first on White Plains Road in the Bronx and later at Paradise lanes in Yonkers. He bowled 13 sanctioned perfect games his latest at the age of 84 and was still “working “at the age of 90. Not really working because he loved and lived for the bowling alley and his bowling family. I think everyone who has bowled in Westchester county knew Joe “hooks” Cirillo. The only other place besides the bowling alley he wanted to be was home with his daughter and his beloved grandchildren who he doted on their whole lives and who loved him with their hearts and souls.
